Different construction methods can be reviewed at this stage so the client can select their preferred solution. Alternatively, we have been involved at the later stages to advise the client on alterations to existing structures and internal fit-out.

We provide the design and drawings for both foul and surface water drainage systems. We provide the information required during the planning process and develop this into full construction information for site. We also provide designs for external pavement construction and permeable paving to suit the ground conditions of each individual site.

We carry out pre-purchase surveys for clients looking to purchase a private or commercial property. This involves a detailed inspection of both the internal and external space including the attic. The information gathered during the survey is logged in a report along with any photographs taken. Any areas of concern are noted in the report so that they can be investigated further or monitored. This is a good opportunity for clients to discuss any alterations they are proposing and what effect these might have on the existing structure.

We carry out condition surveys of existing structures before starting refurbishment work or alterations. Opening up works, drainage surveys or detailed ground investigations are organised where necessary to determine the cause of any deterioration of the existing structure. This information will allow the design team to put a more accurate cost on the overall project.
